A fuel-rewards / loyalty platform spun up inside the RIC Holdings group
around 2013, originally launched as GSpotRewards and later rebranded
to Go2Rewards. Members earned points on qualifying purchases and
redeemed them across partner merchants.
Across both phases of the product I worked on:
- Backend — helped build the core rewards engine: points ledger,
merchant transactions, and the redemption flow that tied purchases to
reward balances. - Mobile app — helped build the mobile client so members could check
balances, redeem on the go, and interact with the program away from
their desktop. - Database — managed the Oracle database that backed the
platform, including schema evolution through the rebrand. - Customer portal — signup, balance, transaction history, and
redemption flows on the web. - Back-office tools — merchant administration, promotions, and
reconciliation for partner businesses.
